Kim Benotti
Kim Benotti has been a part of the Skylark Images team for the past five years. She is a vital asset to our success as a business in an industry that is constantly evolving. Her desire to gain more knowledge in the area of her vocational interests and her advancement in our company reflects her willingness to learn the latest technologies and take on new challenges. Kim's attention to detail has been crucial to the workflow necessary for our digital reproductive process. Kim’s skills as a photographer are key to providing our clients with the highest quality digital documentation of their art. She manages our digital photography studio utilizing a Cambo 4 x 5 Camera with a state of the art PhaseOne FX digital scan back. She employs color management throughout the scanning process and has a high degree of expertise working in Adobe Photoshop and other digital editing programs. In addition to her photography duties, Kim is in charge of the post-production curation of prints and final quality control before client delivery. Kim studied as a fine art major at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst for one year, but she bought a one-way ticket to California in December of 1998. Kim graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College with honors and is currently completing her BFA in Fine Art with the emphasis in photography at Sonoma State. When Kim is not at Skylark she works on her photography, painting and plays guitar. Her photos have been published twice in the Photographer’s Forum Annual Best of College Photography and recently her work has been accepted in a juried fine art show in Denver. Through her art, Kim is communicating to the world what she sees and looks forward to career as a freelance artist. |
