Installing ICC, ICM Profiles

For Windows users

ICC profiles are supported in Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows NT, and Windows XP. After you uncompress the ICC profiles, save them in the Color folder.

For Windows 98 and Windows ME, this is

C:WindowsSystemColor
For Windows NT, this is

C:WINNTsystem32Color
For Windows 2000 and Windows XP, this is

C:WINDOWSsystem32spooldriverscolor
After saving them, go to that folder, and right-click the icon for the desired ICC profile. Select "Install profile" from the popup menu. (In some versions of Windows, the icon begins grayed-out prior to installation; after installing it, it will no longer be grayed-out.)
For Macintosh users

After you uncompress the ICC profile, if you are an OS 9 user, save them in the ColorSync Profiles folder under the System Folder.

If you are an OS X user, save them in the /Library/ColorSync/Profiles folder. If you are in an administered environment and do not have permission to write to that folder, please contact your local administrator.
